What do I already know?

The course is designed for students for whom the following statement is true:
I can speak about basic things like work, family and school. I can ask and answer simple questions. I can write an e-mail to book accommodation for my holiday and I can read the answer.

Books and Material

The combination of various materials from different sources – Internet, Newspapers, Magazines, News, Conversation books

How will the course be taught?

You will speak only in English
The teacher is a native speaker who does not speak Czech
The course is designed for students who need to talk and don’t want to put emphasis on grammar
Less attention will be paid to grammar than in general English courses. The teacher will explain any grammar that gives the students trouble and which inhibits conversation
Every lesson, the conversation will take place on a different topic, to be selected at the beginning of the course
The teacher will offer a list of topics from which you can choose during the first class. Students can also suggest themes.

Doprava MHD: Metro trasa C, Budějovická a pak asi 2 minuty pěšky. Z vestibulu vystupte na té straně, kde jsou obyčejné schody (ne eskalátor). Učebny jsou v budově polikliniky Pacovská přímo naproti výstupu z metra. Pozor, na Budějovické jsou dvě polikliniky, ta naše je za velkou budovou Raiffeisenbank a KFC.

Who teaches this course?

Maciej Malinowski

Maciej je velmi zkušený lektor angličtiny, který se výuce věnuje profesionálně už více než 20 let. Učí děti i dospělé. Je držitelem certifikátů CPE (úroveň jazyka C2) a CELTA (výuka angličtiny jako cizího jazyka). Maciej má zkušenosti s výukou obecné a obchodní angličtiny a také s přípravou ke zkouškám TOEFL, IELTS a cambridgeským zkouškám.
